Made for a longer life.
Loake describes 1880 Classic as the highest expression of its English shoemaking tradition.
It is made in Kettering, Northamptonshire, with selected leathers, traditional Goodyear-welted construction and knowledge passed through five generations of the Loake family.
With appropriate care, leather develops character, and welted construction allows the sole to be renewed when the time comes.

At Atelier & Boutiques EMIL HRISTOV, we present men's Loake shoes for suits, business, weddings, dinner dress and smart casual clothing. The selection includes Oxfords, Derbys, brogues, monk shoes, loafers, trainers and seasonal styles.
For each pair, we show EU and UK sizes, width and sole type. Goodyear-welted construction is indicated separately from the sole material.
Available styles can be tried at our boutique in Varna. If a size or style is not at the boutique, we can check advance-request options from Loake's current catalogue.

How do I choose the right size?
The size is a starting point. The last, width and shape of your foot also matter. We compare nearby sizes and assess the shoes in movement.
What do E, F and G widths mean?
E is narrow, F standard, and G offers more room around the foot. Size and width are chosen together.
How do EU and UK sizes compare?
We show both sizes together in the catalogue. For example, EU 42 corresponds to UK 8, and EU 43 to UK 9 in Loake's sizing system.
What does Goodyear welted mean?
This traditional construction joins the upper and sole through a separately stitched welt. With appropriate care, the sole can be renewed.
Can I request a style that is out of stock?
For some styles, we can check the possibility of an advance request. Availability and timing are confirmed individually.
Do you send shoes by courier just for a fitting?
Fittings take place at the boutique, where size, width and last can be assessed in person. Shoes are not sent by courier solely for trying on.
